Elijah's elephant & his friends
If you would like to send a message to Elijah please use the form below. His mum wrote to tell us that so far he has been handling his meds. pretty good. The worst so far is the steroid that he is on again. It is awful! She say's we are just now starting some of the worst part of treatment which is called Delayed Intensification ( not sure if that is how you spell it). I feel that he is just made of steel at times with how well he can handle the meds. Use your back button to return to the site.

Happy New Year, Elijah. I hope that 2006 is a much better year for you. I am a nurse, so I know what you are experiencing. Your grandparents, Jan and Bob, are good friends of mine, and I live one town away from them. When I was a little girl, Baba (an elephant) was my constant companion. If you would like to see a photo of Baba, have your parents email me; it would surely make you smile because he has been repaired many times over the years. Ann Tumser in Orange, CA Atumser<at>socal.rr.com
Hello Elijah. I'm a friend of Ann Tumser who is a friend of your grandparents (Bob & Jan) of Garden Grove, California. I live in Arlington, Virginia, USA, but my condo overlooks Washington DC. I lay in bed and look at the U.S. Capitol building and the Washington Monument. I have eight children and my oldest boy had leukemia, but he was quite a bit older than you when he was diagnosed. In fact, he has four children of his own. I know a bit, therefore, of the struggle you and your parents are having. When I was your age I had an elephant named "Cinty" because my parents bought it for me when they were in Cincinnati (a city in the state of Ohio, USA -- Ohio is said to be high the middle and round on both ends) I'm told that, until Cinty's trunk wore out,I used to carry Cinty by his trunk everywhere I went. My mother repaired Cinty's trunk, but, from then on, even after I had children of my own,Cinty lived on a shelf in my parent's home. I will add your name to my family's "prayer list" and we will pray for you three times each day. Hopefully,God will answer our prayers for you. Al Branigan Branigan<at>Towervillas.com

Hello Elijah What a very grand and wonderful name you have got. It is a very old name, did you know that it means 'My God is the Lord'? My name is Dorcas Mary and they are also very old names, although not as old as yours. The meaning of Dorcas is Gazelle which is a beautiful agile animal unlike me as I am old and have Arthritis so am not able to jump about any more. I really loved your Website and it made me laugh.
